About The Rising Sun Dojo
Rising Sun was established in 2006 to provide a Traditional Training Environment for Shotokan Karate, Okinawan Kobudo and Iaido
in the Kissimmee area. The founding Instructors of this Dojo have their professional career besides teaching Karate.
A Not for Profit Dojo
The Dojo is registered with the State of Florida as a Limilted Liability Company for
insurance and liability purposes. However, the goal of this Dojo is not to make profit from teaching Martial Arts. None of
the Instructors get paid to teach at this Dojo. They do it because it is beneficial for them and the students.
Adequately Equipped
The Dojo has enough equipment for regular training sessions. You will not be asked to purchase pads, punching bags etc.
There is over 800 sq. ft. of floating wood training floor, and the wall features as a 24ft Mirror.
